Gesucht: Das beste Segelfoto des Jahres – OPTI-Shot dabei?
Mit diesem Foto vom Störtebeker Opti Cup schaffte es der deutsche Fotograf Christian Beeck 2017 an die Weltspitze der Segel-Fotografie. Er gewann einen Preis beim Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image Award. In diesem Jahr sind in der Endauswahl dieses Fotowettbewerbs (80 Fotos) 3 OPTI-Fotos.

(bmg) Welches ist das beste Segelbild des Jahres 2024? Professionelle Fotografen aus der ganzen Welt konnten beim YACHT RACING IMAGE AWARD ihr bestes Bild einreichen, das zwischen dem 14. Oktober 2023 und dem 13. Oktober 2024 aufgenommen wurde. Die Veranstalter haben 80 Bilder, ausgewählt von einer internationalen Jury, auf ihre Webseite gestellt. “ Bilder zum Niederknien, unbedingt reinklicken…!“ heisst es in einem deutschen Segelmagazin.
Und das ist bemerkenswert: Zu sehen sind auf der Webseite der Veranstaltung nicht nur hinreißende Fotos von BIG BOATS mit gigantischen Segeln – es sind drei OPTI-Fotos dabei!
Drei Preise werden an die Gewinner des Fotowettbewerbs vergeben: der Yacht Racing Image Award (Hauptpreis), der von der internationalen Jury ausgewählt wird, der ‚Public Award‘, der auf der Anzahl der öffentlichen Online-Abstimmungen basiert, und der ‚Delegates Award‘, der auf den Stimmen der METSTRADE-Besucher beruht.
Bis zum 12. November läuft die online-Abstimmung zum „Public Award“ .Macht mit!
Die 20 besten Bilder werden auf der weltweit größten Messe der maritimen Industrie ausgestellt: METSTRADE Amsterdam, vom 19. bis 21. November. Die Preisverleihung findet am 21. November im Rahmen des Yacht Racing Forums statt, der führenden jährlichen Konferenz für das Segel- und Yachtrenngeschäft.
Diese OPTI-Fotos gehören zu den 80 ausgewählten Fotos des YACHT RACING IMAGE AWARD 2024 und können bei der online-Abstimmung angeklickt werden.
